Mr. Black speaks at SMU's Cox School of Business as well as the Business School at Stanford University.
Black was selected by the mayor of Dallas as a "Top Talent" professional.
He is a recipient of the 30th Congressional District Award for outstanding achievement in the field of business.

He also received the Quest for Success award by the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce.

Albert Black is President of On-Target Supplies and Logistics, a leading business supply and service company. Black was the youngest of seven children, and is a native of South Dallas. After graduating from W. W. Samuel High School, he attended Eastern New Mexico University on a football scholarship. He graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with concentrations in business and political science and received his M.B.A. from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University (S.M.U.) in Dallas.

Following college Mr. Black became an entrepreneur - one with an agenda to create a successful business in the inner-city community where he grew up. He founded On-Target Industrial Maintenance in 1982 and served as President while performing most of the operating duties. In 1991 Mr. Black purchased a vacant warehouse and created an office space for what became On-Target Supplies & Logistics. In addition to serving industries in Dallas, On-Target has offices in Houston and San Antonio.

In 2000, Mr. Black served as Chairman of the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors. As a board member of the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce, he advises private and public companies on relocation, re-engineering and growth strategies. He is on the Advisory Board of TXU and the Chase Bank, Dallas-TX Board of Directors and is also a board member of Paul Quinn College, and a member of the Dallas Citizens' Council and Governor George Bush's Business Council. In 1997, the Governor George W. Bush appointed Mr. Black to serve on the Board of Regents of Texas Southern University in Houston. In addition, Mr. Black is a member of Omega Psi Phi, a national public service fraternity.
