Our Fellows conduct original research and analysis meant to bring clarity to the often contradictory conclusions reached by advocates on both sides of the school choice debate. CSPI’s goal is to be an honest broker of information. While we support the concept of public school choice, the Institute will not endorse research efforts conducted by organizations or groups that define their conclusions first and then back into the questions needed to support their desired results.
A comprehensive CSPI review of recent funding studies suggests that many public charter schools receive fewer funds than their traditional school counterparts. CSPI Fellow Garth Heutel provides insight into the disparities.
